TWO GETHERNESS WITH CHRIST-THE IMPORTANCE OF TWO

 

Principle-It is not good for one to be alone- Adam (1) + Eve (1) = 2

 

There is Strength in Two’s -Ecclesiastes 4:9-11

Work- v.9

Walk- v.10

Warmth- v.11

Warfare-v.12

 

There is Togetherness with Christ – Christ (1) + Believer (1) = Two -gether

 

1. Crucified together with Christ-Gal. 2:20

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

 

2. Died together with Christ-Col. 2:20

20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

 

3. Buried together with Christ-Rom 6:4

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

 

4. Quickened together with Christ-Eph. 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

 

5. Raised together with Christ-Col. 3:1

1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

 

6. Sufferers together with Christ-Rom. 8:17

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

8. Sit together with Christ-Eph. 2:6

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

 

Our "Together with Christ" covers the total aspect of the Grace Age Believers salvation position in Christ. While all of the ramifications of "Together With Christ" is beyound finite comprehension, nevertheless, it is a spiritual reality. Notice the Grace Age Believer does not die alone, does not face the grave alone and the Grace Age Believers are not  left alone using their own power to be made alive, to resurrect the body, to suffer alone and be glorified in their own might. Hallelujah, What a Savior!
